Kendy Suen +JITR
Kendy （孫曉賢）在 2020年 8月開始以獨立音樂人身份推出一系列原創曲詞編監作品，包括《如斯》、《面目》、《白眉》及 《無名故事》等並推出首張個人EP 《無名序》黑膠唱片及卡式帶；均獲得不俗的口碑。
JamintheRoom 有見 Kendy 獨立後綻放的藝術性與音樂上的實驗性，故誠邀 Kendy 參與 +JITR Project，希望 Kendy 能於 +JITR Project 有限的資助下，得到更充足的資源去開拓新的音樂企劃。
2022年 3月Kendy推出全新單曲《日月無常》，當中 +JITR Project 資助音樂的 Visualizer 製作；+JITR Project 亦會繼續與 Kendy 合作，尋求Kendy能夠擁有更全面的藝術展現。
Kendy Suen became an indie musician since 8/2020 and released a series of singles including 《如斯》,《面目》,《白眉》, 《無名故事》and etc, being the composer, lyricist, arranger and producer of her own production. The EP 《無名序》in vinyl and cassette was published in 2021 and was well-received by the scene and public.
Appreciating the artistic and experimental approach of Kendy's new music perspectives, JamintheRoom invites Kendy to join the +JITR Project, aiming to support Kendy with resources to furthe develop her music projects.
In the latest release 《日月無常》, +JITR Project supports the production of the Visualizer, and +JITR Project will continue to work with Kendy in order to assist her artistic expression in music.
About Kendy Suen
Kendy Suen（孫曉賢）曾在英國留學，留學期間考獲皇家音樂聲樂八級文憑及倫敦音樂學校音樂表演證書。也曾參與英國青年音樂劇團（Youth Music Theatre UK ）到愛丁堡參與音樂劇《請看著我》（Please Look at me now）演出，成為了該劇唯一一個華人擔上主角。Kendy更透過參加倫敦的《倫敦街頭節奏大賽》（Rhythm of London Busking competition）躋身了Top 10 Finalists，有機會在英國的地下鐵路自彈自唱表演，和在年度的Shoreditch Music Festival演唱了她的原創曲。這些都為她的英國留學生涯留下了難忘的回憶。 2010年畢業返港後為作曲人唱Demo及作曲。Kendy也曾獲得《柏斯琴行原創歌曲大賽》的亞軍，並簽約東亞唱片成為了旗下作曲人。她也一直為其他作曲人唱Demo，也有為編曲人唱和音，其後發展至在各大小商場演出，又或在各類慶典婚宴上演唱。第一首出版作品有楊千嬅的作品《呼吸需要》（電影《志明與春嬌》主題曲） 2011年，Robynn與Kendy把翻唱作品於YouTube上發放，與大眾分享她們的音樂。第一首翻唱作品《你是我的女人》，旋即在網路上大獲好評。2012年1月10日，她們宣佈加入環球唱片成為旗下歌手，正式在香港樂壇出道，拿下了新晉樂壇組合金獎。 2013年於各大樂壇頒獎典禮獲得卓越成績：叱咤樂壇流行榜頒獎典禮組合銅獎及新城勁爆組合獎等。其後於2014年參加浙江衛視節目《中國好聲音》第三季，晉級楊坤組八強；同年 Kendy 推出首支獨唱作品 《月湖》。 2012-2019年總共推出了五張廣東專輯及一張國語專輯。 直至2020年，Robynn & Kendy 於三月尾宣布暫時休團，各自作獨立發展，希望在音樂上有不一樣的火花。 Kendy 在同年 8月以獨立音樂人身份推出個人原創曲詞編監作品《如斯》及於10月推出最新單曲《面目》。 2021年 推出了全新單曲 《白眉》及 《無名故事》也登上了各大電台流行榜。 同年亦在香港及日本推出首張個人EP 《無名序》黑膠唱片及卡式帶，均獲得不俗的口碑。2022年三月推出全新單曲《日月無常》。2022年入選CHILL CLUB推介榜年度推介21/22年度女歌手最後21強。
Kendy Suen Artist Producer previously in a duo named “Robynn and Kendy”, have released six albums during their time with major label up till 2019. Currently Kendy is exploring her musical journey as an independent solo artist and has been performing in both english and cantonese. She is also trying to bring elements she was aspired by back in the UK in her most recent works. Kendy has been broadening her musical tastes by getting involved in the production of her music projects and expressing her mind through her recent music and calligraphy works. Her recent singles have all received recognitions from different music charts and Kendy is currently involved in various projects, collaborating with young musicians of the likes. She has released her first solo EP “The Prologue” in 2021 and is available in both Hong Kong and major vinyl stores in Tokyo.
